happy mundane made this christmas tree, or i'm pretty sure he did

Look at what Jonathan Lo of Happy Mundane and It's (K)not Wood made! I am pretty sure he made his own Christmas tree. I have been following the thread of his Ornament Adventure posts of late and saw the results yesterday. Isn't this tree beautiful? I am thinking that he made the concentric circles from progressively smaller lampshade structures, but I can't quite figure it out. I am hoping that
