Is there a sewing gene? Or is sewing a learned behavior? Either way, I do believe that I picked up my sewing abilities from my Mom. My Mom made nearly all my clothes for me, up through 2nd grade. This is my second grade picture. I loved this cute skirt jumper she made for me so much. She changed the pocket detail to look like an envelope. And she made the two of us the cutest mother-daughter
