I was at The Strand the other day, taking in some of David Foster Wallace's latest collection of essays, Consider the Lobster. If you ask me, his greatest gift is for non-fiction. He is quite funny. And his sentences are so long and elaborate, some going on for an entire paragraph. I find it great fun organizing all of the clauses.I thought it was the least I could do, after talking about Julie
